There are a lot of people online sharing how cannabis oil aka “Rick Simpson Oil” (RSO) saved their lives from terminal cancer. This webpage is designed to collect links to real patients’ stories.
Do not confuse this concentrated cannabis oil with hemp oil, hemp seed oil, hash oil, oil for vaping or CBD oil with less than .3% THC. They are very different.
Hemp oil and CBD oil are legal in America. The cannabis oil mentioned here that was used to treat cancer is NOT THE SAME as the cannabis oil used for vaping. It is not the CBD oil you can buy in the grocery store.
CBD oil contains little or no THC by law and is used medicinally for anxiety, pain relief and seizure control.
Hemp seed oil contains fatty acids, no THC or cannabinoids.
Hash oil contains high THC and is for recreational use.
Cannabis oil (RSO) for cancer treatment is a whole plant concentrate and contains both CBD and THC. The THC level is very high in RSO and it is ILLEGAL in most states.
This cannabis oil used by the patients below was discovered by Rick Simpson. He took the entire Indica marijuana plant and concentrated it to make his own cancer cure. It’s also called Phoenix Tears Oil. It is ILLEGAL in most states and many countries. Don’t panic if you can’t obtain this. You can make your own. Rick has provided a recipe on his website.
DO NOT ORDER RSO FROM ANYONE ONLINE. It will be fake.
When medical authorities say there is “no evidence marijuana is effective in treating cancer” they are being disingenuous. There is little evidence because studying marijuana has been illegal. In addition, patients are lying to their doctors about taking RSO because it’s ILLEGAL. The doctors then inaccurately belief the cancers are being cleared with conventional chemo and radiation.
There is plenty of anecdotal evidence—like these patient’s stories—for the efficacy of cannabis in treating cancer. Anecdotal evidence is the cornerstone of medicine.

More Important Additional information:
THC level must be at least 20% in the plant before it is concentrated into RSO. The dose for the RSO is 60 grams within 90 days, gradually working up to 1 gram per day. This means starting with 1/4 or 1/2 of a grain of rice until one feels comfortable with larger amounts.
If one has had chemo treatments, the dose needs to go up to 120 grams in 90 days. (A pound of marijuana will make approximately 60 grams.) “Shake,” the cutting leftovers can also be used and is less expensive.
For the harder to treat cancers, like pancreatic, a higher THC concentrate is recommended by patients who have successfully treated theirs. It needs to be 60% before concentration.
Taking the RSO in suppository form will avoid the “high” feeling from the high THC, and will deliver the medicine directly into the bloodstream. This is the recommended method for treating rectal, anal, and colon cancers because it gets the medicine right where the cancer is.
Most cancer patients must take maintenance doses of RSO to keep the cancer from returning. This means that RSO is a possible treatment for cancer, not a cure.
Hormone stimulated cancers like breast, ovarian and uterine require extra CBD oil in addition to the RSO.
List of People who Have Died From Cancer who used Cannabis Oil
There have been people who have DIED of cancer while using cannabis oil to treat it. It does not work for all people or all cancers. This page is design to provide information, bad and good, so people can make an informed choice.
Episode 223 of Cannabis Health Radio’s guest, Beth Ann Dennis, did not survive the rectal cancer she treated with cannabis oil.
