My name is Carolina Courtland, and I am the author of the teen vampire romance Sweet Savage Blood.
I started this blog when I realized I was spending a lot of time giving out advice about relationships. I would spend so long on the phone my ears would hurt. My knowledge comes from years of dating, being married, and from listening to my BFFs moaning about their men.
Although this is primarily for relationship advice, I blog about current issues and anything else I feel like. I call it like I see it, and write both humorous and serious pieces.
I am a gourmet cook and rescue animals in my spare time. I am an animal rights activist, and plan to have my own animal sanctuary one day.

you rule girl, we need more women like you in social media! REAL gender equality is the next real frontier we need. Kudos
That’s true we do need that, but it takes a women to stand up for men. If a man said the same things I did he would be labeled a woman hater or a wimp.
oh yeah, if men complain we’re told to quit whining and get on with it (which we like to anyway, we’re problem solvers, not blamers). Women noways are told they deserve more, and it’s a neverending black hole, (methinks, also linked with their insecurities sometimes. Or maybe part of the reason, as they’re told to expect a lot from outside themselves that they feel empty), it’s like a pot of gold no woman wants to give up. Only real smart women realize this, because unfortunately feminist ideas are so deeply entrenched in our culture and media nowadays, they’re almost facts.
But yeah we all need to smarter, men too. They raised us to believe that our work was the only important thing while our women would take care of the details, but that lack of taking care of details and awareness is what’s killing us as gender!!
